For this C2C crochet pattern I recommend using worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm (H-8) crochet hook. The chart size is 73 blocks by 89 blocks and the finished blanket should measure approximately 57 inches x 69 inches.
If you wish to adjust the size you can do so by using thinner yarn and a smaller hook, or by crocheting what is called the mini C2C stitch. The mini corner-to-corner stitch uses half double crochet stitches instead of double crochet stitches, making the blocks slightly smaller overall. The finished size would then be approximately 49 inches x 60 inches.

Below are the approximate total yards of each color needed for this project, based off of a swatch that I crocheted using Bernat Premium worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm hook. However, yarn thickness can vary between different brands, so it’s always best to crochet a gauge swatch with the yarn that you intend to use and calculate your yardage from the swatch. I suggest adding about 10% to the totals below to be extra sure you have enough yarn to finish the project.
