Christmas is a wrap and it’s time to start thinking ahead to the next special day. If you’re looking for a cute gift idea for a loved one, look no further! Using the corner-to-corner crochet method, you can whip up this adorable owl blanket in plenty of time for Valentine’s Day.
For this C2C crochet pattern I recommend using worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm (H-8) crochet hook. The chart size is 80 blocks by 100 blocks and the finished blanket should measure approximately 62 inches x 77 inches.
If you wish to adjust the size you can do so by using thinner yarn and a smaller hook, or by crocheting what is called the mini C2C stitch. The mini corner-to-corner stitch uses half double crochet stitches instead of double crochet stitches, making the blocks slightly smaller overall. The finished size would then be approximately 54 inches x 67 inches.
