Some fun facts about the T. rex:

For this C2C crochet pattern I recommend using worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm (H-8) crochet hook. The chart size is 100 blocks by 80 blocks and the finished blanket should measure approximately 77 inches x 62 inches. Read more about gauge and how to calculate the finished size HERE.

Below are the approximate total yards of each color needed for this project, based off of a swatch that I crocheted using Bernat Premium worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm hook. However, yarn thickness can vary between different brands, so it’s always best to crochet a gauge swatch with the yarn that you intend to use and calculate your yardage from the swatch. I suggest adding about 10% to the totals below to be extra sure you have enough yarn to finish the project.
